M Bone and Joint is a family-owned, small business based here in the Inland Empire. We are active in our local community and participate in international service organizations. We are faith-based and believe that service to others is the foundation of all that we do. We proudly support our first responders, police, fire, and military personnel.
We are proud to offer state-of-the-art treatments to our Inland Empire community with orthopedic problems. Dr. Mitchell McDowell, D.OAbout Dr. Mitchell McDowell, D.O
Dr. McDowell is Board Certified, Fellowship trained Adult Reconstructive Orthopedic Surgeon. Being a native of Southern California and received his undergraduate degree with Howard Hughes Medical Institute Honors from California State University Long Beach and performed research in molecular cell biology.
He went on to obtain his medical degree from the Western University of Health Sciences College of Osteopathic Medicine, allowing increased training on the musculoskeletal system, somatic dysfunction, and non-surgical treatment options for disorders of the musculoskeletal system.
He completed his residency at Riverside University Health System, which included rotations at Kaiser Permanente and Children's Hospital of Orange County. Dr. McDowell was then selected to participate in the Adult Reconstruction Fellowship Rush University Medical Center and Central DuPage Hospital, which the U.S. News and World Report rated high performing (the highest possible rating) for knee replacement and hip replacement.
